I'm guessing this body will fit the MGT, my only problem with doing that is I can't cut lexan for anything and it needs A hole for the motor.

Did anybody else look at the specs of this truck compared to the MGT 8.0?
The Rival is wider and has a longer wheelbase.
The center diff should make the handling much better too.
I'm a racer, but I'm getting one of these for bashing

I'm guessing the wheels just have an offset.

looking at the manual, the chassis is a different part number and looks like it might be longer too.
I agree the width is probably due to wheel offset, but i'd bet the wheelbase is because of a longer chassis

They may have made a longer chassis but it makes more sense to use the MGT 8.0 chassis and build the platform on that. Regardless you can still use all other MGT parts, just like the Losi LST platform..

The wheel base is probably from the white piece at the rear of the chassis where the motor would have been.

I think that "white piece" you see is just a reflection off the aluminum chassis, but i do think that is where they lengthened the chassis.
The chassis looks to be a longer version of the MGT8.0 chassis.

The 4.6 and 8.0 use the same chassis. Only difference in the 4.6 and 8.0 is the trany motor and mount spur and tires and hubs.

I bet that'll be the price everywhere. Your best bet is to get a coupon code from Tower or A-main. Tower seems to have great coupon codes but since I live in IL I get dinged with sales tax which generally negates the discount in most cases...ack!

On the upside I get stuff in 1 day with standard shipping.

Looks like a cool truck - I like the longer wheelbase, hopefully it won't be as flip prone as a MT4 or Savage.

And the rear bumper extended dubbing as a wheelie-bar.

Based on the specs the chassis is longer. Sadly dont see engine mounting screws, so ill have to get them machined out

Pretty cool lookin'.. Man - Losi is totally missing out. And AE/TT have so many 1/8th scale electric bashers it's hard to keep up... (MT4 G3, ST-4, E-MTA, Rival, ....)
