That white extension is the stock Nitro aluminum chassis minus the motor mount and nitro motor. They just removed the motor and switched it to an electric and adding battery holdowns. Guys have been converting these for a couple years now to electric. AE finally caught on...I am glad they did. These are tough trucks.

It seems that the MGT has always been on the back burner for AE. Not sure why as MT's have always been great sellers. If they put as much time and research into the MGT as they do the RC10/SC line we would have the baddest MT ever.

Mine is on order from tower. 475 shipped not bad. Electronics to emaxx that can only handle 4s anyway, mamba monster to this and 6s here we come. Wish it was late April already.
P.S. - 475 cause of gold discount.

It's kind of interesting to see TT/AE coming out with all these trucks - MT4 G3, E-MTA, and now this, gobbling up all kinds of market share for 8th scale electric MT's, while Losi does............................... nothing. TT is basically taking huge chunks out of what would have been Losi's pie, had Losi paid closer attention and realized the MT world is not dead. It's not "all about SC's" and racing or whatever. Long live MT's(even electric ones..)

Go TT...

I don't race cars or trucks but boats, and I would love to race Monster Trucks if we had that class in this area and with this truck!!

Based on what I've seen thus far Losi is leaving a lot to be desired lately. I'm glad to see AE pop this out. Now If they would just release a 1/5 scale already!!! I would also like to point out that IMHO I think MT'S are gonna make a big comeback in 2013 and 2014. Just this premonition I been having lately then this comes out lol! I really hope this class takes off again because at the end of the day MT'S are a lot of damn good fun for everyone. It's nice to take a break from real racing and throw these guys on the track or bash site and let them rip it up!!

LiPo for sure!! Keep the Ni-Mh when she is running it then slap the LiPo in when your running it. It probably has to be programmed for each type of battery, one is for low voltage detection, it may not need programmed but make sure you read up on it good before playing!

Congrats buddy
