Ok, so I'm trying to figure out which lipos will work for it, considering the battery box is 143mmx47mmx31mm

As far as 2s lipos, almost all of the standard 2s lipos will work, even 2s race hardcase packs that use bullet plugs in the case itself, as long as you use 90 degree bullet plugs.

Here's a nice Turnigy 6000mah 2s 25c hardcase lipo 132x45x29mm $27: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dProduct=19169

For 3s, I've been looking on HK to see what will work. I've come up with these:

Turnigy 3s 30c 3600mah lipo 137x42x22mm $26: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dproduct=14966

Zippy 3s 30c 4000mah harcase lipo 137x47x32mm $29 (I'm really interested if we could get this one too fit, best specs I've found so far and hardcase): http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dproduct=16769

20c Version too $27: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dproduct=16767

Zippy 3s 30c 5000mah hardcase lipo 137x46x32mm $37(Even better? 5000mah?! Maybe a typo on the dimensions, but i would go to some lengths to make this fit.) http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dProduct=16770

20c version $31: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dProduct=16768

If anyone on this forum pre-ordered from amainhobbies, maybe they could give amain a call and see if they could tell us what the deal is with the delays? They may not know but it might be worth a shot.

I just called. They have about 46 preorders right now. I'm right around number 22 on the list.

Their suppliers keep slipping the date, not them. They update it based on what the suppliers tell them. They have orders for them all over the place. They said they might have one of their orders being shipped to them on Monday.

Really, it's just a holding pattern right now.

Some of the distributors are just getting them in. Not all of the pre orders can be filled right away. Demand is outstripping supply right now. It goes by how long your pre-order has been in. I'm itching to get all of my customers backorders processed. I was elated to see that these are finally starting to roll in.

I would think that a few more will be floating around since Horizon and HPI are no more. That's one distribution channel that will be cut. Unsure if pre-orders will still be honored, maybe through the retail side of Horizon only.

Ours are ordered through Great Planes and none have arrived as of yet and we are on the first shipment list.
