Well the other release date I have seen is the 1st of September. Hopefully that one will be right, I'm not the most patient person when it comes to this stuff!!

I wanna know just what distributor got preferential treatment with this. I have several distributors that carry HPI and none of them have this in stock

I wonder if they're gonna push it back enough for it to fall within HPI's annual "Fall Rebate" sale?

What is this sale you speak of? is this just something from HPI's website, or would TH run the sale & i could also use a coupon code?

Well it's not guaranteed, but every year around this time HPI usually has a "fall rebate" promotion going on. It's a mail in rebate directly from HPI, so it doesn't matter who you buy it from as long as they're an authorized reseller. I remember saving ~20 when I bought my Mini Trophy Truck last September..

I see what you were talking about. They stated that the true battery tray dimensions were 143x47x31.

The battery I am running in my Pede is 138.17 x 46.5 x 25.2mm which is also the battery that I will run in the XS. Hopefully other people wont have fitment issues!!

Battery can be found here
