I've been racing the E-maxx here in Madison Wi. for 2 years now.
And A guy whom I've raced against with his T-maxx just got the new T-maxx and I can still beat him.
He has always been good compitition, my E-maxx is stock-no hop ups.

LouisB,
If you have not yet purchased the new tires yet-Maybe you should look at getting Panther Meat Grinders.
In a 5min. qualifier on semi-loose dirt they give me just about a full lap more than the stock Maxx tires.
Last year at the Chicago show I met the owner of Panther tires and told him how much I liked them and he told me other customers said that they work good on pavement and don't seem to wear much even on pavement.
I liked them so much that my son's T-maxx has a set on also.

Did you guys get the T-Maxxs yet?:deathstar

I haven't got any new tires yet, but I'm considering the meat grinders. My T flys at the moment and I'm concentrating on the electric classes more.
Thanks

any feedback on the new Tmaxx 2?

planning of getting the Tmaxx 2 or the Associated BFT though the latter is much more expensive!

t-d-motorsports 10-08-2002 01:52 PM

T-Maxx 2.5

Are you talking about the T-Maxx 2.5 or the Sportmaxx? We will have our T-Maxx's in stock this Friday, so they are out.

fireblade 10-08-2002 03:21 PM

Both t-maxxes are out now, sport and t-maxx 2.5.

robob 10-08-2002 10:42 PM

I raced and beat the new T-maxx again last Sat. in Deforest WI.
But this time it was with a stock T-maxx that was stuck in 1st gear.
Don't get me wrong, the truck looks great(alot for you'r $) but all it ends up being is a T-maxx with some built in hop-ups.
As I posted before the guy I raced is also a very good driver.
I have not had the chance to drive it let-Maybe I'd get even better lap times?
I'll try to get a test drive this Sat.(weather permitting) and post my first hand feelings on the new Maxx.

fireblade 10-08-2002 11:03 PM

New Maxx rails. Thing is fast. The old motor was uhh, not even cool.Traxxas has improved a lot in their motors so they should be fast.Yea all hopped maxxes might beat a stock new maxx but thats because its stock  I wonder if they are durable though?

maski 10-09-2002 09:56 AM

t-d-motorsports> how much are those maxxes? also for the sports maxx

Robob> i read you were runnin the Emaxx against the Tmaxx? have u tried the new Tmaxx2.5 yet?
