CoastalTony: Couple more ?'s for ya, does it bode well for the T-Maxx (will it turn the wheels while sitting still?) Does the connector fit into a "Z" connector (Airtronics) receiver? Is it fast enough for racing purposes?   Sorry to ask so much, never have dealt with Hitec before!!!!!!:D :D :D

Here is a link to the classified ads for the tires. I will put some pictures up tonight or later this afternoon if I can.

Also, New-Jack

You'll be happy with the 645 over stock. It's a big improvement and the best value for the money. I suggest running 6 volts no matter which servo you get though, it just makes all the difference.

coastaltony 06-12-2002 11:18 AM

Actually, this Hitec Ultra Torque puts
out 133.31 oz-in @ 6v.
Tim you have any experience with Hitec
servos?
I have a Futaba 9303 in my truck for a
steering servo.
I just got these Hitecs, haven't
installed them yet.:flaming:

t-d-motorsports 06-12-2002 11:24 AM

I ran the 645 last year in my maxx. Very nice for the money. Actually, one of the better non digital ones out there. This year, I am running the 5945, which is the digital version. I almost got the 645 again for the throttle brake servo, but ended up with a 5925 instead. The 645 is a 100% improvement over stock, and short of going digital, is my first choice in a steering servo.

coastaltony 06-12-2002 11:41 AM

I was just going to mount the 5945 in
my truck. This is my first digital
servo. Anything I need to know about
it?:deathstar

t-d-motorsports 06-12-2002 11:45 AM

hang on

Not really, just run 6 volts and hang on. Don't worry about the buzzing, that's normal.

coastaltony 06-12-2002 12:02 PM

Thanks, I am also gonna mount one in
my new Mission Carbon sedan.
Is rcmarket Dennis Racine's site?
I can't respond to your ad there, due
to the fact my server is webtv. That's
a bit odd:eek:

t-d-motorsports 06-12-2002 12:31 PM

Yup, that's the one. That is one of the slickest classified systems out there. Too bad you can't use it from our site. That's weird. Try going to www.renegaderc.com and just click the banner once to see what happens.

CoastalTony: I went to Shreveport on Wednesday & got me a JR Z8450 servo 188 oz. TQ/.08 speed!! Thanks for the offer though!!!!:D :D :D

New Jack
Did you make it back OK? hehe!
That servo ought to turn your wheels
standing still. Make sure to set your
end points.:tire: :tire:

CoastalTony: Did you tell me at one time you had some extra Associated Shocks for the T-Maxx, if so I may be interested in a couple of weeks unless I can get ahold of some already assembled 1/8 shocks for it!!!!:D :D :D
