I have not glued or taped tires yet. I’ll know in few hours if the wide front solves the issue.

The RM Porsche has been almost undriveable. It’s worse. Going with the box stock McLaren. It’s slow but stays on all 4 tires.

Well today was basically a bad day of running. Can’t really even call it racing. Our current stock group is too fast to run a box stock in. It’s basically an obstacle on the track. That every other car will hit.

We get a new layout in 2 weeks. I’m undecided about what to do with the RM Porsche. Unfortunately the tires rub, even with zero offset wheels. Trim wheel well, change body, go back to narrow.

There is another option. Maybe it’s time to move on to the Jomurema.

you rub with 0 offset fronts? I do not even with “low down” knuckles.

There are a number of things you can do to help with traction rolling. Does anyone at the track have a tire lathe? You could run stiffer front springs, reduce the roll centers by taking a shim out above the knuckle. Do some reading, I was able to reduce a lot of my TR issues with a little bit of work.

Cheers,
Jim

Even if they don't have a lathe, he could swap out those radials he has in front from some low height slicks. If he still rolls, then put a little glue around the side walls.

I’ve only ever used the Kyosho radials as tires. I was unsure about the slicks. Only experience with slicks has been the stock RTR. And those aren’t good.

I was asked if the tires on the EVO had been trued. He offered, but there was no time once races started. We are trying to get on a tighter schedule. Keep loosing people as the final round start.

I can’t say 100 percent they rubbed while on track. They do in hand.

I do have what seems to be to be an unusual amount of up and down movement with the steering knuckle. All 3 other have almost zero up and down. Even before I switched to the wide front

Give the low height slicks a try. I use them on the front of all my cars now. Even the GLA.

Default Corvette ZR1

anyone know when and where to buy the Corvette ZR1? It looks awesome. Is it faster than the Sports Long Tail McClaren. My McClaren does not look that fast.

Still waiting for release date. Possibly July, but with Kyosho who knows.
