So the 6 cell chassis will have a 145mm wheelbase?

Unless thats 12mm and not 15mm

The new components are looking good. I hope the lhs get a good supply of all parts. Looks like the 1/18 pan car class will really come alive.....

*squints real hard*

Looks like either "13mm" or "17mm" to me.

Has anyone found a set of LiPo saddle pack batteries that fit the Scalpel? I am looking for each pack to be around 400 or 500 mah and 7.4 volts.
Thanks.
Matt

Other than the Mamba (since that fits into the stock motor plate), what other types of BL motors are individuals looking to use with the Scalpel?
Thanks,
Matt

Dialed Pile, please don't post items for sale in the Micro forum, we already have a For Sale/Trade forum for that very purpose, I've started to get complaints about it here, so per the sticky I posted I'm deleting or moving any such posts from here.

I got mine and this little car looks awesome! I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned it or not so I will.

The Futaba 3155 servo is a perfect fit (same size as the Hitec 81). It's about $50 and is digital with metal gears. VERY nice servo.

My ESC should be here today and I'll be trying out the car Sunday. REALLY looking forward to it.

I was putting in my servo last night and noticed it has crazy bump steer mounting it the way it's instructed. I see I'm going to have to sort out the steering before I can drive it

hey guys, i have a question -

whenever i go to hit the throttle in slow corners, the rear end just wants to kick out. ive checked and double checked tweak, and made sure teh rear pod is flat. any suggestions. the diff is just tight enough not to slip, and im saucing the rear tires. it goes through the high speed sections ok, but it loops out in slow corners. any thoughts?
