I agree- may need to back off the diff just a tad.
I would also try removing the center shock spring. Let the rear pod soak up some of the motor since there isn't a softer t-bar out yet. Also may have to raise the rear ride height just a tad if the center of the chassis is scraping the carpet on acceleration- pod sag on throttle.
If all else fails then order up some softer rear tires!

The bump-steer in the stock config, is a bit disconcerting. Try it anyway! The car actually works pretty good like that. I couldn't stand looking at it though, so I mounted my servo on higher, angled mounts, and pointed the servo-saver down. The angle of the tie-rods (down low in center/high at steering arm) eliminated the bump steer.

Did you try backing off the Tweak screws? Back them way out and let the pod free float. Make sure you have very low spring tension on the damper plate and no grease/fluid. If it starts to push, increase tension on damper plate and ad damper fluid/grease.

Can you tell me what is the wheel width (front and rear)?
Do you race with 4wd micros like xray and hpi or you have separate class only for scalpels?

even if the diff slips a little on takeoff, it still does it. i will try the suggestions to let the pod free float. thanks.

Yes, I have mine stock for now but have played around with raising the outside ends too. Just seems really excessive that bump steer on such a tiny car

whats the equivalent tires for the pink (rear) and purple (front) of the 12 scale.to this scalpel? how was the run with this car? any mods needed . just considering using just the stock setup. not brushless.

can a quantum2 work with this car? whats the guage you guys use on wires? 16g? or 14g? also how you guys charge a 2/3a battteries? its 1500

Anybody raced these on asphalt? Just wanted to make sure they'll handle ok on asphaly as there is no carpet in my area.

quantum will work fine. Use 16g wire and if you are running elite1500s charge them at 1.5-2 amps not more.....(Elites dont like high amperage)
