These are great cars. We don't even really have a regular class for them at my track and I bring it out just to run laps with it during practices. Too much fun.

No one that I know of does that. Everyone runs the Xray composite ball diff. Don't even bother with aluminum diff kits. The M18 does not generate enough torque to need them, so all you are adding is extra rotating mass.

What's the difference between 0, 6 and 12 degree upper arms on a M18 (Pro) ? I've switched from a M18 to M18 Pro , and on the old one there were no numbers on the upper arms, so I don't know what to start with on the Pro ?

Hi Denis,

That changes your caster. There is really never a need for 12 degree uppers. You should be fine with 6 degree upper arms. I always run 6 degrees of caster on my M18

Exclamation Shocks

M18 adjustable shocks are NOW avaliable through Mrh Racing Products. Any one who runs this car knows how important they are. They will be instock at the Micro East coast Champs This weekend. You can also order them through Middle River Hobbies. Email at [email protected] for more info.

Hey guys, does anyone have a m18 pro for sell? I have a older one and am looking to update it and start racing it again. I do have some other rc stuff that I'm willing to trade if the kit is in great shape.

Losi 22
MBX6 (tekno V4 Conversion)
MBX6 Nitro
AE 12r5.1 (rolling chassis w/ 2 bodies)
3pk w/aluminum case/ spektrum 2.4 modual and reciever

Let me know if anyone might be interested???

Hey guys, I have acctually owned two of these cars in the past, both the original with motek upgrades as well as the pro, and always enjoyed these little cars. Im thinking about picking up a new one for fun but the only place that seems to have one is stormer hobbies, and they advertise it as a lipo chassis, but when i go to xray i did not see that as an option. My question is are the m18's discontinued? Who sells these things now a days? Also are there any "must have" hop ups i should check out after buying one of these?

The lipo chassis was a running update. Meaning it wasn't a new kit, just a updated chassis when you buy the pro.

I need to retract what I said. The lipo version "replaced" the regular Pro. So after a certain point you could only buy the lipo version. Just make sure the part number is 380003 NOT 380002 and you will be gold.
