Notes, I backed off the throttle to 60% this month and focused on consistency, it showed with a lower over all time. Adding some drag brake helped keep the car balanced since braking too much myself was unsettling the car. Photo proof of the run will be on the facebook pages since i cannot post photos yet.

Will soon look to ask some questions on building a touring car as I want to run that at the local track and in this.

Lastly trying to find a timing system that I like am torn between Next Level Timing and Live Time. I like the fact that I can close out the session but you can look up the track and see all the races that have been ran to try and get the times down but hate there is a monthly fee. I like Next level Timing but hate I can not delete something where I mess up just starting a race that is never ran.
Welcome to another Texas boy!!! MAN, I'm jealous you have a GREAT Local track and 1/28th scale rc shop in your back yard!!! You should be able to post pics here in 10 posts or so. Feel free to holler with any questions Ya have. Great folks here and always happy to help! Welcome to the Fold!

As for the timing system I use EasyLap hardware and Next Level Timing software. NLT is good, and getting better. It's a easy setup to use, but Live Time seems to be a bit more configurable while not overly complicated like Z Round. I didn't understand timing systems when I bought mine, but you need to decide on what timing software you like, then buy the hardware that works with it! Since you plan on racing at Houston RC too, ya might want to check what they run, to save yourself issues down the road!

Spent the last day I had to run messing with a new car I got. Turns out the MM2 mount doesn't fit under any of my bodies, but the Evo was cheap and my first brushless! Had just a few runs this month (nothing close to last month's times) but they were a while ago and I'm not sure I want to dig through all my times because I didn't take any pictures so on to next month.

Notes:
Didn't have enough time this month to give this car a good CCW run. I ran smaller discs taht even exposes little rubber since the KSK40 front tires are getting thinner 21.90mm currently. This care reacted the most when I wiped down the track.

Notes: Going back and forth testing the MR04 front conversion and back to MR03. Front is too aggressive and I need to tune some major oversteer out of the car. Second off pace with CW car. Didn't have enough time to run this car along with my Mod 2WD car.

Yea Houston Rc got me set yo for sure and working to get out to one of the events they put on. Trying to practice at home so I do not embarrass myself. I think the next thing i am looking at is doing a touring build. Got to do more research but no clue where to start.

It's more complicated now than ever bc there are so many good options out there. Now we have Associated RC28R in the mix. I would go with one that is supported the most at Houston RC or what is easier for you to figure out and get parts. For me the MRX and Reflex racing is the most supported in my local area so I tend to lean towards those for parts support as well. Just do some research and you will find the right one within your checklist.

Running OK, but HOPEFULLY new batteries will help with the lack of power.
