My lower back is no happy at the moment, and it's all I can do to run some laps. BUT as soon as I'm able I will try all 4 layouts yall have liked. I too think 14 will be very quick, but those "bubble" corners in the loop can look easy but will bite you in the a$$ when trying to run tight lines!!!
ON a side note I had the electronic glitching ( acts like the receiver) again on my GLR. But it only happened when the battery was low. I charged both batteries along with an GL battery, and will test tonight and tomorrow to see if it is a low voltage issue.

Thanks Walt! Looking forward to having you back on the track again!!! Take Care and get well soon!
As for my cars, I tried to get the McLaren F1 to work on my BoxStock chassis, but even though I got some DXR 0mm N wheels to work on the 04 chassis to work it was a Traction Roll fest, and I was rolling in every corner. After trying 3 different front tires and 2 rears, I gave up and stuck my NSX on it with +1mm N fronts and +2mm W rears. It runs quite well, so hopefully I can get it even better before the end of the month!
My Narrow chassis runs very well too, with a MX5 body on it, though it has A LOT of initial and mid corner steering. BUT with the Yaris body I bought to run on this chassis has TONS of body roll causing rolling in the corners. So that' a work in progress too. The 90mm MM pod runs quite a bit different than the 90mm RM pod. It seems to react quicker than the RM.
I have switched my GLR to a Concept C9 hard body, which fits the Reflex Jomurema carbon front brace and clip very well, and I'm trying running a wide wheel setup, 14mm rears and 11mm fronts, and wow I didn't thing this thing could steer any better, but it's on RAILS with that setup! I have PN KSM LH 11mm medium fronts and 14mm KSM Soft Radials that have about .5mm of tread left. After running 3 packs through it today it only glitched twice, and both times were where I could feel the battery dumping. I checked the plug/wires, and it was good. So for now I'll only run timed runs with a fresh battery. Who Knows??? I'm not too worried about it. I never set up any of the safety features of the FlySky receiver, so maybe that has something to do with it??? I have the voltage cutoff set on the ESC and it works fine. Anyway still having a BLAST with it, and am constantly amazed on how it drives.

THAT's a SMOKIN' run chjosi! I'm better CW, so my lap times aren't much slower, but my overall times suck! The best I've run so far with any chassis is a 5:24.xxx 75 lap run. Many more mistakes going CCW!
i changed my GLR back to the Jomu, as I couldn't get the C9 body to stop trying to TR at the end of the straight. I don't know how my times are with the Jomu on wide wheels vs. Normal setup, but I'm testing that next. Also have a 2500Kv motor, aluminum front bulkhead coming for the GLR, and a Nexx top shock for my 90mm Narrow MM. I'm getting it better, just trying to control the wheel hop and loose a$$ end.
My Son is coming in this weekend, so he can help move the track around to test a few layouts for next month. IF Yall have a layout idea, POST IT UP! I'm trying to figure out all the ways to fit different tracks in a 12x8 size, but yall may have more experience or better imagination that me. SO if your running the Challenge feel free to show us your ideas! I'm also going to see the largest layout I can fit in my track room, I'm thinking I can go 13x10, but I dont want to cut anyone out if they don't have the room! So let me know if yall can go bigger than 12x8, as that can open up the designs quite a bit.
Thanks!!! Drew

I figured 12x8 would be the largest most could go. The only reason I can go bigger is I took over my Son's old room when he moved out. So other than a tv stand/ rc desk, the room is empty. Basically the room is 12'x14', but not quite square. LOL
I really want to try out a large track, BUT after watching a few videos of big races this year I'm not too excited to put my cars on track in a race. I saw a few open cars completely destroyed in t bone hits! I forgot about that side of racing with others on the track!
I might try to work out a carpet track if the garage if I ever get it emptied after my parents sold the farm. It's not insulated hardly at all though, so the summers are like a oven!
But I still have plenty to learn on the Mini96! Heck I have never even run on the rough side! I think I might have came up with a layout that is a good mix of the ones yall have liked (1,4,9,), but flows a bit better. It doesn't have quite the dog leg in the "stair section", so if you hit it right you have a straight shot. #4 that yall have all liked, felt choppy when I tried it today, and probably too much for our beginners.
Anyway here's what I came up with.

not the final for next month, but a good front runner!

Blazing fast indeed! only have 1 run in per car so far and they're slow... I also tend to have more trouble CCW... Box Stock are you tuned to be basically full throttle 99% of the run or do you adjust max throttle down just a bit so you can go full throttle? I'd estimate by submission i'll be lucky to get within 10 seconds of your current time =P
