March 2023 Results

We had 12 racers posting in 5 classes this month, with some VERY close racing for first in the main two classes. In Box Stock, 0.064 seconds separated 1st and 2nd and only 0.478 seconds in Stock, with PoorBoy taking the win in Box Stock and Traveler hanging on to the win in Stock. We couldn't be any closer than that, separated by fractions of a second in both classes. And congrats to danjoy25 who ran in four classes and set out to get all four cars under 5 minutes and did it! It's good to see some old names back, but where are all the new guys??? Come on! You can't improve if you don't post your results... For example, Carmine Lanza improved his box stock time by 16 seconds over the prior month, AlvBo by 8 seconds and Kevin Soukoroff by 4 seconds. Practice and posting your results will help you get faster! Box Stock 1st - PoorBoy/David Krinard - 242.1/3.09s 2nd - Traveler2/Marwan Zabaneh - 242.2/3.03s 3rd - None/Carmine Lanza - 260.2/3.25s 4th - None/Kevin Soukoroff - 276.8/3.48s 5th - danjoy25/Dan Dylen Garcia - 297.5/3.64s 6th - BoxerBoyDrew/None - 344.9/3.79s 7th - AlvBo/None - 367.6/4.39s 8th - LlamaRC/Doug Waite - 376.4/4.31s Porsche Cup 1st - Traveler2/Marwan Zabaneh - 250.9/3.17s 2nd - PoorBoy/David Krinard - 253.4/3.15s 3rd - AlvBo/None - 370.9/4.24s Stock Class 1st - Traveler2/Marwan Zabaneh - 225.1/2.84s 2nd - PoorBoy/David Krinard - 225.6/2.85s 3rd - None/Carmine Lanza - 242.2/3.03s 4th - danjoy25/Dan Dylen Garcia - 296.0/3.62s 5th - Doubledarth/None - 298.5/3.57s 6th - None/Zachary Paxton - 304.6/3.60s 7th - None/Paul Barsamian - 309.7/3.70s 8th - BoxerBoyDrew/None - 342.9/3.78s Open 2WD 1st - PoorBoy/David Krinard - 229.2/2.80s 2nd - danjoy25/Dan Dylen Garcia - 292.2/3.44s 3rd - Tomthegeek/Tom Beighley - 326.3/3.83s 4th - AlvBo/None - 337.5/3.96s Open AWD 1st - PoorBoy/David Krinard - 242.4/2.97s 2nd - danjoy25/Dan Dylen Garcia - 294.6/3.71s FTM goes to PoorBoy/David Krinard in his Open 2WD car with a 2.80 fast lap! If anyone was late, please post up and I will update the results. Because I have some posting on RCTech and others on Facebook, I'm listing handle/name to more easily identify racers across the platforms. If anyone objects, please let me know. Also please check my tabulations and let me know if I made any mistakes or missed anyone. Cheers, Traveler2 |

Traveler2 Can you give us any more setup info? Tire diameters, shims on kingpins, dry or greased diff, etc.

I don't think its the setup but the race lines that make me faster.
How about wheels and offset? I have been using non-Kyosho wheels and some don't have the same dimensions as stock, forcing me to shim things to eliminate slop in the wheel mounting. |

I know. I am just wondering if anything you are doing will improve my car's handling.
