This is a basic question, but to get a 94mm chassis in Box Stock is to use a RM motor mount, correct?

Not necessarily. You should also be able to achieve 94mm wheelbase with MM. The difference would be in the mount for the rear shock, and the T-plate. As for part numbers, that, unfortunately, I do not know. I know, for my 'Stock' car (currently using an MR-03 EVO), I purchased the tri-damper, not realizing that the included rear shock mount is for a 94mm wheelbase. I had to order the two separate parts to get the rest shock mount back to 98mm. I realize this is not a 'Box Stock' car...but, knowing what I discovered, that's why I'm guessing there should be a stock Kyosho MR-03 rear shock mount for 94mm. I'm not 100% certain...but, I believe the parts you'd probably need are MZ206B & MZ403B.

Correct Drew! The MM2 pod is designed for 94mm primarily, but would not technically be legal in box stock because of the rule that reads "Any Kyosho plastic motor mount that does not incorporate a disc dampener can be used for 86-98MM Wheelbases." At some point in time a participant ran the MM2 pod in Box Stock and left the disc damper off, and we let it slide. I'd recommend trying the RM. They can be a lot of fun to drive once you get them handling properly...

Hey Guys, I'm looking at bodies so I can run the 86/90mm narrow class, and I have found a Mazda MX5 Roadster that's 90mm. I was wondering if anyone has tried out this body? It's a white body that looks like it has a low CG.
I'll have times in Box Stock and Stock this afternoon. I had the flu for almost 3 weeks and wasn't able to drive as I was pretty dizzy, and trying to turn laps made it worse! I did repaint my AMG body that came with my RTR. It is my first attempt with an airbrush, and it came out pretty good, but I'm still trying to get my paint mix down so it lays out smooth. I have a Iwata NEO CN that has a .35mm needle , so it sprays a pretty narrow pattern. Which is good for detail, but not so much trying to cover bigger body panels. Anyway forgive my ramblings! Pics to come.

Looking good Drew! I think the MX-5 can be made to handle well. There is a group somewhere in the US that runs them as a class and a guy at our local track just bought one as a ReadySet and is getting around the larger track surprisingly well with it, but it may take some work. It doesn't come with narrow wheels all around, but I'm fine with you running that body in the narrow class as long as you run zero offset 8.5mm wheels all around (Hint: sometimes the 19mm wheels work better on the short wb/narrow cars). Another local racer and I are thinking of painting some MX-5s and running them with the stock RM pods, so we might join you here too! I say give it a try! I miss running my Ford Focus in the narrow class...
