Default T&T Speedway Dirt Oval

Well I think the dirt oval test went well we ran just about one of everything sat. SC Trucks, Sprints, 2WD Late Model, 4WD Late Model and some 1/8 Buggy's with dirt oval /street tread tires. the temp was pretty high sat so we had to keep adding some water but that's no big deal, there was plenty of traction and the line was really coming in and when I ran my last lap around 8:30 the track was sweet and plenty of bite off the corner's.

The next hot lap practice will be 10/23 $5.00 run all day as many cars as you want.We will be getting the class's put together soon, One suggestion was a SC Late Model using 1/8 bodies. I'll post more on that soon.
So if you like to slide it sideways and have some fun join us sat 10/23 we will open at 10:00 and run till ????? bring your table and chairs and some shade if you like we have electricity, so come get in the groove.

The Off road in coming along pretty good we had some rain mon that I did not need yet but things are going good and I will post pics when I finish the layout, So stay tuned and watch for great things and big races at T&T. rcbum

I went over tonite and ran some hot laps with my nitro truggy. The layout is really nice...... Track is too smooth though.... I had no problems with gettin a nitro blown out in the straights. The front straight is about 70' and the back is about 90' or so of hard throttle. Its also Short Course and 1/10th truck friendly! There isnt a whole lot more to do with the track itself. I will most likely be up there on Sundays and Saturdays that Im off doing some test n tuning!!!!

Love the new indoor track surface.I am buying lots of tires. There was rubber everywhere when i got home. I am currently building a platinum 4x4 for the outdoor track. I plan on having one for dirt and one for the inside track. Just wish there had been more racing this week. I wont make it on the 30th . I may come back on the 10th of nov if thats the next race day after the 30th.

Default RCBUM REPORT

Well week 2 on the new surface was even quicker than the 1st week there where some blistering laps laid down, 4 new fast lap records where set and we set a class time in Sprint car of 6.801 by Dustin Shepard.
The Sprints had not run in a while but with the new dirt track it is catching on quick again. The wheel standing show was a great addition to the day with the new surface they had no problem dicing wheel to wheel. Albert Garza took the win 35/ 5:01 with Dustin in 2nd 31laps and miss Jennifer Ross in 3rd on her first day at the track and with some good lap times too.

Mini Modified LM hit the track to test the floor Mike set a new time to beat a 6.185 it was good enough for the win 38/ 5:23 and Trey in 2nd. The Texas boy's will be back next race so we will see who that time holds.

Unlimited LM is building a good class of cars with some fast laps making for some fast competition. Mr John Reppeto took the win with a fast Losi ride a 35/ 5:01 With Magoo in 2nd 31 lap off the track but not before setting a new fast lap of 5.882 and mike and myself off the track with problems ( WALL) who put that wall there.

Super Stock LM what can I say but wow I was having a normal run except for the fact that Magoo was lapping me every 4 laps wild he laid down a new fast lap that may be hard to beat in round 1 he ran a 5.05 lap set the TQ with a 49/ 5.01 and the win 43/ 501 myself in 2nd and Mr John in 3rd. It was just so fast I had trouble keeping up with my car I am not sure how Magoo did remember folks the center line of the oval is 266 ft. Thats just boogity boogity fast. (DW would say)

2WD Short Course Oval had a small field with everyone off at the Texas race but there was still some good competition and great pass for lead changes I love it. As I am sure Trey did as well with the TQ and the win a 41/ 6.01 Karan in 2nd 38/ 6.06 and Jeff in3rd 35/ 6.01

VTA is making its way into the T&T race lineup the 5 car field they did battle all day with some good competitive action and some real nice vintage paint jobs you got to love this class. Dustin set the TQ with 27/ 6.05 set a new fast lap at 12.486 and took the win with a 35/ 8.02 with Trey Lankford in 2nd 33/ 8.01 and Mr. John in 3rd. The new surface allows for better passing opportunities and inside corner moves just what the racer's wanted, traction.

2WD Short Course had a good field of trucks and they ran the ever changing bum course Trey set the pace with a 13/ 6.17 TQ. But Alberto took the win with a 14/ 6.27 with some consistent driving that got him that extra lap for the win. Trey took 2nd with a 13/ 6.13 and Ron Cunningham just back in 3rd 13/ 6.21 and Jeff in 4th, We had a new racer in the class today as well and Noah Burchan held his own and turned in some good laps all day, way to go Noah.

4WD SC Oval was short on drivers with the Povery racing guys out of town but Mike held off Ron Cunninghan for the win and Albert in 3rd The RD (me) messed up the class on the timing end so we did not get any fast lap times sorry guys. But I will say this the lap's I saw will set a new mark next time.

Well folks that's all I got for today if you missed the race I hope this fills you in but If you want to make the next RCBUM Report we will be racing indoor's on the T&T Speedway track Nov. 6th, I hope to see everyone at the track making your mark in the Fast Lap Wall.

We will run some Dirt Oval hot laps and some head's up race's sat around noon. $ 5.00 all day.

Will see you at the track rcbum
