In the interest of maintaining class size, does anyone have a problem with running the open class with the 10.5 class?

This is with the assumption that the open class will be mostly nitro 4wd and a few others.

Phil

I forgot, Touring Car and NASCAR style bodies must be ran in their normal trim. That means on a NASCAR and TC bodies, you can't hang a sidedam and the additional rear spoiler on the body for side and down force.

If you want to run a NASCAR style or the T-HD body, the Buds Super Bi-Level wing will be allowed only in the OPEN CLASS. The latemodel bodies can be tunneled or "decked".

Thanks

Phil

guys i'm cool with all the rules, except the batterys are a issue. the casing. we are outside plus so many of us have maxamp batterys. which are not hardcase. all the other rules are cool with me but the soft case lipos really should be allowed. i have 4 softcase lipos, been racing everywhere with them for almost 3 years now.

I thought rubbin' was racin'. Sounds lame. I like to bump, Bump, Bump! That's the sound of the 15's while they're hittin in my trunk.

Georgeshobby 02-06-2009 12:19 AM

Rubbin' IS racin', but punting is meant for football. Turning into somebody with intent to wreck them, AKA "hacking" and close racing is two different things. It would be like if you're inside someone and put them into the outside curb. It's still supposed to be fun.

I agree it is lame.
It's way to early to be talking about hacking :cry:

4300 is 13.5. 13.5 is a 19 turn. Haven't you all got the hang of this kv thing yet? Who makes a 4300 that doesn't already call it a 13.5 ,anyway? Castle's motors are 4600's which would be like a 12.5. Their 5700's are like a 9.5. This is the reason Castle motors can't be in spec classes. Now 10.5 is probably equivalent to an 11 or 12 turn.

Acording to ROAR, 4300Kv is now considered a 10.5T equivilent.

rcfisher 02-06-2009 06:58 PM

Roger. Did you get any Tamaya brand F103 bodies/wing kits in yet? If so take care of the people racing them 1st, but I would like to have one to set back with my F103 for future sell if you have any extras.

Thanks for you time sir & please LMK at your convenience.

Big Midget 02-06-2009 07:03 PM

I saw Phils oval body yesterday, looks crazy with the air damn on it. Do guys paint those things?
Starting to look foward to trying one out.
Thnking about running a 13x2 checkpoint in the 10.5 class.
Would that be the brushed equivalent?

Shades where's my Revo punk ;)
