How do you figure 3mm ride height from 1.5mm shims? Is their 1.5mm built into the arm assembly?

Exotek introduced a hold down for the F6 battery. Its supposed to increase rear grip and it comes with softer springs. This and PSM for the R6 have been ordered

If you were from Southern Indiana, you should fit right in.

Btw, cost is about $30 with shipping and VAT. ~$25 w/VAT plus ~$5 to ship to the States...

I think VAT should come off when you are in North America and it should be a lower price in the shopping cart / checkout. Usually with most Euro websites.

I ordered 2 sets, as I have 2 12r6's. Fit is way too tight in both the hub and bearings, then the rear axle didn't spin freely. I sanded till it fitted good, axle spun a bit more free, but still wasn't as good as the kit parts.

I have family that live in the UK... And it doesn't matter where you live - you could live on the Moon and VAT would still be in there. It's in the "regular" price, if you will, the price is ~$25 with the VAT included in that - sorry if it was confusing for you the way I put it. If you go to most European websites it will have the price with "VAT included", meaning the price you see already has the outrageous tax that European people currently enjoy, a'hem, endure.

Still, not a bad price for that - especially if it works well.

Default Considering rc12r6

Im considering getting an rc12r6. I heat the alluminum chasis tweaks easy tho from local racers. But they use different brand car. Any truth to this? Thanks

You have to hit pretty hard to tweak the chassis. This is really only an issue in modified. I run 17.5 and have no issues. Honestly, unless the grip is crazy high like at a major race like snowbirds or Vegas, the graphite chassis is fine

if you hit stuff, you will want to keep a few bumper plates, lower pivot inserts and lower arms around but bending the chassis would require some seriously violent shit that just doesnt happen until you get into mod racing.
im not saying it cant happen but any car that has an alloy chassis can have it happen. the chassis plates are good quality for sure.

but the graphite is definitely an option, you just might go through them more if your damaging the bumper plates.

ps, I have one for sale cause i dont need two atm, but its amazing how cheap people are lol. offering me $300 for a complete ready to run top of the line car? die please....

Installed the PSM R6 battery hold-down last night and it is nice, quality stuff. If anyone is interested in pics I can get some, however it looks just like the one on their site.

Will be giving it a run in this weekend at the Texas EOS.
