Peak Racing powermax 4200 and Reedy Wolfpack are spelled out in the rules.

I believe the ProTek RC 2S 100C Si-Graphene + HV LiPo Stick (protek 512919) would be legal if charged to normal voltage.

I use that one for practice as well, but use the Reedy for the race in case the other one isn't allowed.

I copied/pasted the TCS general battery rules below

ARTICLE 5: BATTERIES

5.1 Any ROAR approved Lithium-Polymer (Li-Po) battery may be used, for any TCS class. Check the ROAR approved Lithium-Polymer (Li-Po) battery list here: http://www.roarracing.com/approved_lipo_batteries.php

5.2 Sport Ni-Cd and Ni-MH batteries are legal, for TCS racing. These batteries do not need ROAR approval.

5.3 TCS legal Lithium-Polymer (Li-Po) must be 7.4/7.6 volts, 2S-2P specification. NOTE: Despite the ROAR approved list, Sport Packs (round HARD case Lithium-Polymer (Li-Po) batteries) may be used on Tamiya models where only a round case battery will fit. This type of battery does not need to be ROAR approved.

5.4 LIPO Battery TECH rules: In the interest of safety, and fairness, all LIPO batteries will be volt metered during TECH Inspection. LIPO batteries exceeding 8.44 volts (2S packs) will not be allowed to race on the track, until they have been discharged to meet the 8.44 rule. 5.5 All battery packs may not exceed 10 degrees above ambient temperature. You will not be allowed to race with “HOT” battery packs.

5.6 All LiPo batteries must be charged in a LiPo sack, at all TCS events!

5.7 Any type of battery connector is permitted to be installed on your battery pack.
Here are the Eurotruck rules

I haven't bought roar packs in years. Club racing or local trophy races really don't look at that and the main big races I do are tcs and mini z trophy races so save the money

Reading the TCS batteries rules AND the Euro Truck rules, if we are using a rounded shaped lipo battery it DOES NOT need to be ROAR approved. I personally have used the following rounded hard-case lipo batteries...Reedy Wolfpack, Peak Racing Power Powermax, & Pro-Tek. They have all performed similarly/very similar lap times in my trucks at the track I race at.

An unmodified TT-01 E chassis requires the used of rounded battery case to fit properly. Therefore any round hard-case lipo battery should be legal from truck racing using TCS rules. Most of the lipo batteries like this online are going to be 4000mah (or less). The biggest MAH battery I've ever found was the Pro-Tek 5000mah, but I haven't found that it offered any significant advantage (at the small indoor track I race at).

I believe Gens Ace also makes a rounded hard-case lipo battery

Default Gartpot Rounded TT01 Lipo

Lipo fits nice and only $22 ($44 for a two pack).

Was coming off 5 minute heats and mains with 8.05 volts left so I’m sure the 4000mah will be fine.

This is probably the lowest cost RC class I have participated in.

The Tamiya truck bodies are a challenge to paint and finish but cool nonetheless.

Probably isn't the best but I run practice and at least one qualifying on the one Amazon pack without recharging. Sometimes I go through both qualifying sessions on the one uncharged pack and save the Reedy for the race.

That's all I use in mine - they work well enough to win a state championship.
