Lock rear dif, fit drift tires, and PRACTICE.
Front spool diff will help marginally. Stay away from steering and drive train mods to start with, does not add anything on a TT-01.
Oh, and either go back to brushed (you don't need heaps of power, it will only break parts) like a Carson Cup Machine, or use a SENSORED brushless. Sensorless is quite jibbery on pick-up of power, while you want smooth pick-up.

The only metal gears available for the 01 and 02 are the pinion. No need for any others. You'll tear the chassis up before you brake the plastic gears. I use the 02 difs and gears in my 01, except for the spur.

53871 are not shocks.
53571 are. Look like a really old part.
Probably fit fine.

Here's what I did, posted a few pages back:

Also good springs and dampers (84318) make a difference, though not in rolling resistance.
I don't use a silver can but close; a Cup Machine is mandatory in the class I drive. I degrease the motor using brake cleaner and compressed air, and relube with a few drops of the same oil on the bushes. A squirt of WD40 inside on the brushes will also help marginally.

You sanded down the bevel gears in the diff?
