NEW XRAY T2

I've just measured up the shocks bodies from my T2 with some spare bodies I had for my 05. And as far as I can see the only real difference between is the that the thread doesnt go all the way up the body. I used a set of digital calipers to check the sizes of them. I know they are not amazingly accurate but you are only talking of differences of about 0.01 millemeters. And these can be explained with torrances within the manufacture 
Also the shock cap-nut and the shock adjustment nut from the newer T2 shocks both fit on the older 05 shock bodies. This is just what I have found with my shock bodies, and I may well have the wrong bodies in the kit. But I doubt it as this is xray!

But all in all this is an amazing car and I have really enjoyed building it and can't wait to race it! Well done Xray and thanks!

Here's the latest One-way / Carpet / Foam Setup update. It is loonnggg.
DISCLAIMER: For carpet racing with foams, XRAY recommends a setup with a front ball diff. Therefore all U.S. and Canadian kits come standard with two ball diffs and do not include an XRAY Multi-Diff (one-way). The setup information involving the use of a front one-way, provided in the thread mentioned above, is a project. The use of a front one-way is normally more difficult to dial in a working setup and subsequently drive with. It should not be attempted by a beginning novice driver.
I've attached a jpeg image of the T2 setup below and you can find my *final*
FK05 setup at the link above.

Dumas setup:
30wt. all the way around 2 holes Front and Rear.
Camber eccentrics, lower/outer. Shocks 2 hole in on front and back, mounted on outer hole in arm in rear and inner hole in front arm. White springs Rear, Pink springs front, 1.5 degrees of rear toe total. 4mm under rear camber links in inside hole on rear hub.
Ackermann: Bearings toward front, links mounted in back hole on steering blocks.
Pin mounts in the rear are in the middle.
The front front pin is in the middle the front rear pin mount is the lowered one for anti-dive.
15g of weight on the right side.
1.5mm downtravel in front and 1mm of downtravel in rear.
Wheel base is almost the longest with a .5mm behind the rear arms.
Again, this is roughly Dumas and Blackstock's setup from the Novak race for TWO diffs.

I agree...35 springs on the back , antisquat, shocks all the way out on the front...Thats has to be the hardest car to drive....You sure you know what your doing?

1.5 droop(this is not offroad)...front one-way...the car willl just roll over in the corners.....

2mm inboard toe and .5 degree toe out does the car just back into every corner or what?....Is this setup a joke , or am clueless on setup?

Hey Rocco What's up... Gone back to that place yet... hehe....
Everyone ... You will be very pleased with this car... I had literally 1 day of practice on it before the race and this thing was awesome.. Has to be the best car i have driven in a few years to say the least... Since all the guys were there running the new car i was able to try stuff and everyone worked very good togethor.. I am sure rcamerica or xray website will have my setup on there soon.. In the end everyone except paul was running what i ended with.. Paulie's was in a different direction and man can he drive, Congrats to him...
I will have a thread up soon.. to help with all Trinity and Rcamerica, Xray and Hudy products...

Per the disclaimer, the information is not to be taken as a recommended setup for foam carpet racing. It is for informational purposes for those who are interested. I have received many PM's and emails privately from interested customers as well as sponsored drivers.
As a member of the factory support team, who fields multiple PM and email requests daily from XRAY customers, I have always recommended the RC America team drivers setups for foam carpet racing. Rest assured that this has not, and will not change.
Now as far as the setup is concerned. All I can say is try it. You'll find that it is very easy to drive smooth and fast. If you haven't tried it, then you really can't make a sound judgement as to its merits or weaknesses.
