Default Love this Car!

So I had this F103GT on my shelf, and like many, I loved the car but couldn't find quite the right place to race it. Well, I put some HPI Trans-Am wheels and tires on it in the D-Compound, and I'm racing it in our club's Scale Spec class (kind of a VTA/RCGT mix.) Where in the past I found this chassis a bit prone to the grip roll with rubber/carpet, now I can really drive it around the track and have balls of fun. And mine is pretty bare bones: FRP decks, stock center spring (not the TRF), 70t spur. It runs very even with others in the class, mainly 4WD touring cars. It's got good straight line speed, but I have to work a little harder through the twisties.

I really am thinking this thing is about as perfect a simple club racer as I've ever seen. It's hard to believe it's just this old $100 car. The D-Compounds are the ticket. The chassis could have been made for them. But it's discontinued!

Is there a secret stash anywhere? Or would one have to scare one up used?

ThunderbirdJunkie just scored one that's almost RTR, has an ezrun 9t/35a combo and some goodies.

Came across it when he was finding parts for his old F103GT that has long since "lost" its electronics...

The cool thing is this new one comes with enough parts to get the old one back on the road too

Default Audi R8R Body set for sale

Guys I wont be using this body set for our Le Mans races (sticking with my C) I'm selling it for $85.00 (brand new in original box, what I paid for it). Will consider trading it for an F1 F103 body set.

PM if interested...

I just got one of these and have a stupid question, what size steering servo would be good? I'd perfer to get something that I won't need to upgrade later on. I've not had a car this small and I'm sure one like my 1/8 scale IGT2 would b overkill.

I was curious too so I asked my friend google and found this:

Parts Needed To Convert A F103 To A F103GT
51242- B Parts
51229- T Parts ( may need 2, I can't remember how they were packaged)
51227- R Parts
51232- Rear wheel Mount L
51231- Rear wheel Mount R
51233- Diff Joint
51088- Urethane Bumper
4005112- Chassis Plate
4025043- Upper Deck( if you dont have one already)
9400389- Shaft Bag (has the front axles and the longer king pins for the front suspension)

If you want to run the Courage body you also need the Courage bumper parts #9000030.

I have no idea who wrote this so I can't give credit.
