I guess everyone is going to the TC01; it's been quiet in here lol ...here's the latest on mine:
Going to be swapping to a Tekin FXR and wireless receiver.
Ended up taking out the Gyro; had some compatibility issues with the knock-off Sanwa receiver.

Hi, looking for LMP3 bodyshell for my F103GT converted to F1 wheels. Does anybody fitted Layla on this chassis? Or WRC bodyshells. As is has shorter wheelsbase, I´m afraid that it will not fit good.

The ticket for using the Layla body would be to adapt the F103GT axles (front and rear) to an F104 chassis. Its a project that is low on my priority list./

You could also add some rear wheels to the front and remove some tire (and wheel) to get a narrower front.
I've been thinking about doing this for a while. Would look good under a wide vintage body.

Hi all, just picked a F103GT chassis up for it's simplicity to run at local carpet track. Does anyone know if there if there is any available alternative to the 53902 alu motor mount? I can't seem to find any in stock anywhere. Would the F103 53277 part be suitable for this chassis?

yes it's pretty much the same part...you can fit F104 motor mounts as well

Taking a shot - looking for ideas.
For fun, I threw the good ole F103GT together with the Formula E body and put it on the black carpet to mix it up with our clubs F1 regulars.
Car was FAST and on rails....Except - I could not keep the tires down at the end of the back straight. Slowed me down horribly as I had to gather it up as it lifted and wanted to roll over.
Tried gluing the front sidewalls. But decided to drive as it was before trying anything else.
Anyone else find a magic bullet when driving this chassis on black carpet?
