I was curious too so I asked my friend google and found this:
Parts Needed To Convert A F103 To A F103GT
51242- B Parts
51229- T Parts ( may need 2, I can't remember how they were packaged)
51227- R Parts
51232- Rear wheel Mount L
51231- Rear wheel Mount R
51233- Diff Joint
51088- Urethane Bumper
4005112- Chassis Plate
4025043- Upper Deck( if you dont have one already)
9400389- Shaft Bag (has the front axles and the longer king pins for the front suspension)
If you want to run the Courage body you also need the Courage bumper parts #9000030.
I have no idea who wrote this so I can't give credit.

Has anyone here tried converting their F103GT into a mini? There's a conversion kit from Field One in Japan:
Link: http://www.rc-field1.com/contents(CHASSIS).html
It's 5,800 yen for the chassis, upper deck, rear shaft, spur gear holder and front king pins. But, just to challenge myself, I'm trying to build one right now from scratch. Looks like you don't need all those parts to build one.

That is a nice conversion. My F103GT is just sitting on the shelf collecting dust. Sounds like a good winter project.

Mailboxck......Very Nice. Looks like the rear axle might need to be cut down on the driver side, lines up pretty good on passenger side. What body do you plan to run on it?

Yep Field 1 does make a kit but the one they make is the short wheelbase. The one I made is med wheelbase (225mm). I also wanted to prove that you don't need all the parts in the Field 1 kit to make one.
I'm still waiting for a part I ordered from Tamiya to make the rear width correct. I need to replace the right side joint to an F104 diff joint found in the F104 PRO kit. Then, I have to cut down the shaft on both sides to make the width correct.
I'm looking at either an Fiat 500 Assetto Corse body or an MX-5.
