Tamiya TB-Evolution III

Is your car properly balanced?

Thanks Dan. I've got some bodies that need Charlie B's lovin but it's hard to describe to him what I'm looking for without an example of it.
I'm testing the new super and ultra hard springs. Ever since I found that associated gold and silver springs work well on my car, I wanted to find a TCS legal equivalent. The Whites and Blues are too close to each other and with the release of these newer springs, I can more closely replicate the setup that I used for the Reedy Race and still be TCS legal. We'll see how it goes tomorrow.

Well so far, they fit I haven't had a chance to run them yet. What I'm trying to accomplish is to find a similar feel as my Reedy Race setup using Tamiya parts AND tires. We'll see tomorrow.
Here are the part numbers:
Item 53635 Super Hard Spring (Gray)
Item 53636 Ultra Hard Spring (Dark Red/Burgandy)

We should have those springs (and other tension springs) in stock along with most of the Surikan hop-ups as well next week.

Today was my second day of practise. I went down from 4.60, 4.74, 4.88 and 5.00 as final drive ratio and the car still goes extremely fast
I am already making the best times of our track
I have only 1 problem though, using the default setup as per instructions, the car is a bit loose entering a corner (off power). How can this problem be solved

If your car is loose, probably you must be running on dusty track. I place spacers on my front and rear suspension blocks. This is usually needed to keep the rear from sliding.

Iwould stiiffen the front shock go the next step up for springs or take you negative camber down in the by about half a degree or so.only do one thing at a time so you know what works.

Nice work with the fan, i'd put one on mine if I could only afford to race in Mod
Anyone got any pointers to gain steering, car seems very slidy, running on carpet, johhno 540 class just need some pointers on where increase or decrease or look at settings which will affect steering.
Thanx Guys
