Also with side impact the upper arm link positions on the shock tower cracked.
These 2 things were also an important ssue in the usage of this part.

Today ... I tried my TB-EVO3 (Surikarn Limited) ... first time on the track
With my 21T Stock motor ...
I tried 62/35 (spur/pinion), fdr = 4.60 (Altough very fast, the motor was burning hot ... I even burt my fingers )
Then I tried 62/34, fdr = 4.74 (Even faster, better lap times and the motor was still very hot ... but less than before )
Do you think I am overgeared? With the final driver ratio at 4.74, it was very fast ... do you think I should keep trying until the motor does not get very hot or is it normal?

But this is all based on 27turn Stock motors, I have never ran a 21 turn motor.

It all depends on what kind of motor you're running. I've been running a Krypton with a conservative ratio of 8.32 (96/30) At the reedy race they were well into the 7's. I'd try either 8.32 or 8.05 (96/31) to start with and go from there. Run time is no problem with this ratio and you have enough oompa loompa to get down the straight and through the sweeper with this.
Will you be down to Tamiya this weekend? If you have time, I've got a couple of TCS bodies that need some lovin. Could ya hook me up? I'll hook you up with something

Hi. With a 64pitch 96t spur (which seems to be what everyone is using), what is the lowest pinion I can use? I usually gear my 414M at around 8.5 or lower, so I would need a 29t pinion and 96t spur to be around there. Does this combo fit the Evo3?

Yes it does...I've gone down to a 28 with room to spare for something smaller. I'm not sure what the exact minimum was but it was getting pretty close.

Other than that, nothing new with my ride...the surikarn's still in its box but the chassis been prepped. My current chassis (what's plural for chassis?) desperately need rebuilding. And I got some new springs to test this weekend...yum.

Pictures of Kazuo Muramatsu Stratus 2.0 Body
I know that the guys from the Seattle took like 52,301 pictures of the Reedy Race when they were down here and I would like to know if any of you have pictures of Kazuo Muramatsu car with the body on...It's the white, orange, black and yellow one that kinda looks like an opel when you squint your eyes. If any of you can post a picture or two of it that would be awesome. Thanks in advance!

If you buy the TB EVO 3 (Sulikarn Limited), you will have all the important hopups included.
Today was my second day of practise. I went down from 4.60, 4.74, 4.88 and 5.00 as final drive ratio and the car still goes extremely fast
I am already making the best times of our track
I have only 1 problem though, using the default setup as per instructions, the car is a bit loose entering a corner (off power). How can this problem be solved
