Where can I get the Panoz for my hobbyshop to stock?

DeltaPlastikUSA is on Ebay and on Facebook. Your LHS would have to speak directly to them about stocking their bodies.

We're still running this class and having fun with it. Most are still on their original set of tires. How is everyone else doing at their local?

Been on my tires for 3 months. They still look good and seem to run as well as when new. Don't have any other WGT-R cars to run with so I race with the guys in USGT. They thump me but I am driving flat out. That is a good thing. This is going to help for gas season.

Class is doing reasonably well at "The Gate". Way more cars running it than used to run WGT so that is a plus. Tires last and save you big bucks and time (no truing). It is a real driving class and well thought out by CRC. Some people have to get over the foam addiction though. Same thing happened in TC.

Has anyone tried this class, but with the change to 13.5/1s or 21.5/2s?

Well I finally got to try the WGT-R car on Asphalt yesterday. I left the car as I normally run it on carpet. Probably with one softer center spring the car ran great ! My other buddy ran his and his also worked fine.
As for the other motors the 21.5 would be really slow and a 13.5?. the one thing I don't like is the car will get stuck on the pipes and you can't get it off like I car with my 17.5 car. As for my foam addition Both class I race are very competitive and extemely close (WGT-R and GT 17.5 (foam)).

Read closer...he asked about 21.5 on 2S. It would be quite a bit faster than 1S 17.5

Shorter wheelbase than F1. It's closer to the same as a TC. this is also the reason why we are only allowed to run GT/TC type bodies.
I think there is an official approved list somewhere.
We have a pretty comprehensive list on the RoadRunners website.

I wish they had stuck with 13.5T on 1S as that was the default for WGT in the first place. The only difference should have been rubber tires and GT bodies especially on pavement. I ran my car last weekend and it was great! Definitely the best handling and most corner speed than all other cars on the track.
We had a full heat with 9 entries. In the main, the leader and myself were locked nose to tail the whole race but I just didn't have the HP to make a clean pass so I just stayed close, hoping for a mistake. He ran a clean race and I had to settle for second having come really close to pushing past a few times. I consider myself a clean racer and wasn't going to win by ruining his race.
I am definitely hooked!
I will test a 13.5t the next time out for the fun of it.

Default Terrible steering on Carpet

Need help with heavy push steering issue on medium/high bite carpet.

Running X10'15 1s 13.5, 1 degree camber in/.5 degree toe out/2.5 degree reactive caster/stock front width/stock position caster clips/stock knuckle shims/associate green side springs/stock Gold center spring with 500wt shock fluid/black 2.5 front Springs. Running 5mm ride height for crc tires front middle and rear of chassis and 1s lipo at front position. 6 min sauce on full tire front and rear.

Even though I'm running rubber tires on groomed carpet, there should be tons of steering and it's not there. Willing to make any changes to fix the problem.

Thanks!

Your right as I did not see the 2's. why do you want to change the class as it was set-up. It is hard enough to get racers first of all. then there is trying to get them to run rubber instead of foam. It's overall cheaper but the intinal expense is greater. We run both here is sunny Florida. We have way more guys running foam over rubber. Hopefully what we are working on will change that in the next few months.
as I said earlier both classes are extremely competitive and one mistake can cost you a position quickly. These classes are way more fun than anything else I've been racing in years- 17.5,one cell !!!
