Counting down to the Snowbirds and my first time racing World GT-R.

My car is packed and ready to go, after a brief shakedown run in the UK. Lots of interest in the GT-R class from UK racers, and those that saw the car at the recent National (and pictures shown at the Reedy Race) were impressed.

Let's race!
Have fun Mark!

Does anyone know of a body that looks decent with these rubber tires you all use on 235mm car? I tried the tires on a Protoform P905B and it looks pretty bad.

I reckon this one would look good too, especially with an 80's style paint job.

What ESC settings, generally speaking are working for you?

I'm running a Hobbyking Trackstar Gen II and have Punch @ 30 for stage 1 and 2, Drag brake @ 35 and starting brake strength equal to drag brake. If I hit the brakes the car slows nice, but doesn't lock up. They tend to fade as the car gets slower, but then again I tend to over brake (just learning how to do this properly after 30 years in the hobby).

So... you are going to run rubber tires on your 235mm car? That sounds interesting.

new rubber car.... hmmm. perhaps after their success in the GT-R class at the Birds (first and second I believe) there may be an announcement.....

I bought premounts while I was down spectating at the birds and will have my car ready to roll next week. I'm very optimistic about this class!

Default Crc gen x

Was looking to get some input or maybe even a setup to try on the new crc carpet for the crc gen x 10 car. Main question I have is how much droop are you guys running in your crc wgtr cars? A setup to try would be cool to though!

About 1.5 to 2mm in the front on CRC 8 x .45mm front springs. Less than 1mm in the rear. 1-1/2 degrees on neg. camber.
