Jesse, I think that you will be impressed too. You will be able to build your diff and forget about it. Unless one of your buddies "spur" you, will mostly never have to look at the back of the car this season! I continue to run a diff that was built the start of '04-05 racing season without any maintenance. And its just as smooth.
Thanks for your support.
Thanks for the Hyperdrive sources!

Go find a hobby shop that carries a big Du-Bro selection, hobby shops that carries airplane stuff usually will have this. Du-Bro part# 181. It's description is "2-56 Threaded ball link", about $1.55 each. Each package includes a 2/56 ball stud that is perfect for out application, some other hardware, also a clear ball end that you can use for the CRC tubes as well!
Try to call around and find it, if not pm me before noon and I can go to the shop that I found these during lunch and check it out. I also have 3 new packages in my 1/12th box. And I know I still have 4 on my car if needed. I can send them up USPS priority mail, should get there in about 2 days.

Did Weylin run the 5.5 or 6.5 motor? Are you finding you're having to do anything special to get the GTB/Velociti system to run in 4-cel fettle? Is a receiver pack necessary?
Many thanks,

FWIW, the CEFX dampner tubes will also work, and they use 4-40 ball links on both ends of the tubes. If you're partial to using 4-40 ball studs and links like I am, you will appreciated the CEFX tubes.
They are short enough and fit perfectly (actually, the dampner widths on the CEFX are very close to the MS2.3). I'm going to see how well the CEFX pod will match up to the MS, but from my initial measurements, it looks like a perfect fit.

I got my dampner tubes and other CEFX parts from www.stormerhobbies.com. www.kthobbies.com also carries CEFX parts, though everyone's stock appears to be low right now. Josh must be behind.
