EU distributors are not allowed to ship to the US per contract, because Tamiya USA has to service the american market. The story is Tam USA don't do their job very well. Same with asian distributors. They are not allowed to ship to EU anymore. This situation changed a year ago. Tamiya has implemented a strictly market protection mechanism worldwide.

I am not sure how Tamiya can force HK shops not to send to the EU? Take their sales away? That would really hurt Tamiya, because the highest sales outside Japan are from HK.

On the other hand the EU is protected by their import duties which are quite high anyway.

I know this from 100% source. It's a fact!
All big players in HK (RCmart, rcjaz etc.) stopped sending out Tam parts and kits to EU. It began in their Ebay shops 1 year ago.

Example:

This means, they cannot send it to my address. Same with RCMart. Year ago there was never a problem.

They are so dumb. They are hurting their business by doing this.

So the 2.5-3.0 is front? How about your rear springs?

I use 3.0 SMJ linear on carpet and 2.8 SMJ linear on asphalt.

I found the SMJ springs to be softer than advertised. Silver is more akin to 2.7. Just my opinion and my findings, for those that are interested.

Or can I use any other brands that fits?

I could order them for you in Germany and send them per letter.

I am not disputing. But I do wonder what power does Tamiya have on HK distributors.
They really are shooting themselves in the foot. The world is trying to take down barriers and companies are trying to stick to 20th century?

TamiyaUSA now has the pieces in stock and for sale. Their cart system was broken yesterday, but appears to be working today.
The two parts you will need are:
3454938
3454936
They are $33 a piece at TamiyaUSA.

Donath and Simon moving to Awesomatics.... noone left in Europe with great Tamiya results under “blue flag”. :(.... I will also try some other car for winter season but keep WS. IMO Change is needed to stay alive..

I just received my second aluminum chassis and look forward in rebuilding my 419x's thanks snopro31

So I noticed that the TC 7.2 has camber link spacers on bulkhead like the ones that Tamiya implemented on 419x. Also noticed that it still uses old style sway bar mounts.. wonder why they haven’t switched to the ball bearing type.
