Why do you use not XRay springs?
They are best for the short damper on Tamiya.

Please let me know why you so convinced

Anyone know if the 419x chassis is available yet? Not really sure how it happened but my chassis is cracked were the rear suspension block for the front bolts to the chassis. It left a deep imprint on the chassis and tweaked it pretty bad. Im having excessive play on my A-arms.

That's really bad. What happened? Front impact?

disaster999, where are you located?

You can get the lower deck here: http://www.modellbau-seidel.de/index.php?firma=Tamiya&best=3404063

But only EU-postage.

Regards.

When I tried to buy the suspension blocks to make the front more narrower, a local RC shop told me those and chassis were out of stock for months and parts for Tamiya have been very scarce lately. They either refuse to ship the parts or manufacture them completely. They have been trying to get parts for months with no luck. Seems like they are slowly backing away from the TRF line and sticking with the TA line.

Ive messaged a numerous number of well known aftermarket chassis producers here in Hong Kong and they all have no plans on making the chassis for the Tamiya. Im not really sure why but its pretty disappoint to say the least.

After finding all that out I decided not to wait for shops to have them in stock and just order from Bezerk. It helps to have 55 bucks sitting in my paypal account which I totally forgot

Do you really think, they go away from TRF line?

The fact that was conspicuous in my eyes at the introduction of the TRF419X and even the TA07pro back in July, was the time of full availability of spare parts and hop ups. It was much slower than at the introduction of the TA06/TB04 and even the TRF418/TRF419. But I can only speak for Germany. We have Tamiya Europe as main distribution here. And they get their parts directly from Japan.

I rather think Tamiya has a very high demand on TRF419X and TA07 kits/spare parts at the moment and they can't produce more for the world market because of production line limits.

Regards.

There are loads of similar services.

Alternatively you could call your local Tamiya dealer and get them to order it in from Tamiya.

@ Disaster999 - This has nothing to do with the TRF line ..

The prices from reseller in Japan and Hong Kong are too competitive for the likes of Tamiya EU and Tamiya USA. For this reason, Tamiya Japan is pressuring its dealers in the far east to either raise prices or not ship to EU and USA.

Banzai's entire Tamiya catalog was yanked about a month ago and now is showing sold out and RCMart and Stella are both showing out of stock on a lot of items. Banzai actually went through this a year ago and Tamiya forced them to reduce their discount by 10 basis points. It seems that was not enough, so now they are even pressing harder.

This isn't great news.

Anybody in the US looking for a lightly used 419X?
