Got hands on a Xe GT kit today and some of the tuning parts.
First ispection of the kit and the parts did create two questions somebody might be able to answer.
First surprise was that the tires are not belted. Has anybody used them ? Do they tend to blow up at higer speeds ?
The Suspension Bracket R/R 7075 CNC, part No. 504285 (Hongnor) does not fit. The part sliding underneath the diff case is 3.3 mm obove the bottom surface, same as the holes to mount it to the diff. Mistake in manufacturing or wrong part ?

There are option parts coming soon for the C and D plates, the buggy ones on the rear do not fit, you can make it fit but you would need to mod it by cutting the tab off and installing it upside down, the option one will have the correct seating to the gearbox.

I´m based in Germany making it costy and time consuming to buy them from the US.

I would cut off the remaining part you do not need and mount the ESC directly on the chassis. That´s what I have done with mine.
The other thing to consider is to cut off like 7.5 mm of the mounting posts underneath the battery tray to get the whole battery down.
Question from my side: Are those orange chassis stiffners from the buggy and do they fit ?

You can cut off the rear end of the battery tray to make it fit. Just need to install a 90° peace at the end as a stop.
I would cut off the remaining part you do not need and mount the ESC directly on the chassis. That´s what I have done with mine.

Yes those stiffeners are the X3 Sabre units. They fit well. They do not have the two point mount to the chassis like the plastic ones they replace, however I assume this is not required as they are aluminum, thus stiffer.

I got the car wired up tonight. The servo is blistering fast!! I'm looking forward to the test run soon as I know this is going to be one fun machine to control 
I didn't lower the radio tray yet as suggested C@2. I thought I should build it up first as designed then mess with it after a bit.
Now, just need some lipos to fit the tray. Any suggestions to what fits? I'll still go looking, but I was just wondering what everyone else uses with this kit.

I ended up ordering a few of the Gens Ace 5000mah 40C, 4s hard packs that are 138 x 46 x 49mm (L x W x H) to fit the 145 x 53mm tray
Thinking about it afterward, I should have went 2x2s packs. That's way I could have got a higher C as well I would have packs for my re-entry into 1/10 TC racing... Oh well, more packs to buy I guess

Based on the info it seems the RTR motor is 2100kv with 120A ESC. The auction price is quite a bit more than the listed price at Tower or Amain, however, I find that is generally the case on full kits.
