OFNA X3 GT SERIES
OK it's time for another OFNA GT car to bring into the year and this one is sure to catch alot of eyes for speed runs and circuit racing, introducing the X3 GT in nitro and electric. We will have an RTR car along with an 80% car, for you to choose, those gose for both nitro and electric and we already have some of the options as the X3 buggy Pro shares some of the options. The body is a spectacular look and does the job of speed and cornering.
Here's the Facebook page with techs-specs and picture. Enjoy.

What makes this car better than the GTP2e, or the DM1e?

This car is lighter, smoother on the bearings, steering is also greater and for high speed run guys this FDR is 3.0, there should be a correction on the bevel pinion and small pinion, it should be 42/14.
The chassis has kick-up on the front but a small degree so the caster is more aggressive, thats why is better on the steering. Hardware on the car is mostly 3mm screws which makes it light on weight, the drive train drives smooth. My X3 buggy goes through a lot of dirt time and I hardly change bearings until a bigger race but the bearings remain in great shape. The steel gear can last a long time as all gears from the spider to the bevels are forged steel.

I took a trip down to Chula Vista as HCRP hosted their first On-Road race of the year with a new and fresh rebuilt track with new re-pavement,retainer boards and driver stand. The track was done in good fashion and the track surface is nice, smooth and fast. It was time to get the Electric version of the X3-GT out and running so this a good time to go and run. Testing the electronic gear from the RTR the ESC and the motor were a bullet and ran hard as they also had oval practice in the morning so I tried that out from fresh battery all the way till the end of the cycle and it was impressive. The X3-GT handled well in its stock form no changes to the oils in the shocks and the diffs, just ran it like it was from the box. A little pushy but manageable the X3 was great when it came to high speed corners and stuck the line and drifted out on power, it made for some fun racing as the GT to the TQ,won both qualifiers and won the race for the main. Thanks to people at HCRP for having a spectacular track built for this year and looking forward to their next race in April. Here's a video from FangsCPO, thank you sir for your time to have the action caught on tape or memory NOW-A-DAYS.
