I was thinking about just getting the Gtv2e Rtr, but I think this might be the better car. Is my thinking correct?

Thanks! Great to hear... I've been waiting for the DM-1-e to get in stock at most online retailers, considered a Serpent Cobra, but this one just could not be resisted.

Ordered!

Will do once I get and build it. My thoughts on it maybe weak however as I'm mainly a basher, our club has no interest in racing these bigger scales. As such I'm looking at getting back in to 1/10 TC racing just for fun.

The funny thing is I had recently bought 2 X3 bodies for my GT8 Lite car, Then it made me start searching for a chassis to hang the X3 bodies on just so I had a couple of 1/8 scale on roads.... Seems my problem is now solved

Is the chassis short or long? Meaning can the dm1 bodies fit?

With putting the rear body posts from the DM-1 on the rear bumper (yes they bolt right on to the X3 parts) you can move the body from the DM-1 and the holes line up. Wheel base is the same.

If you use the X3 rear body mount, just need to add some additional holes.

Awsom. I really hope the Rtr's come in soon. If the roller had some hop ups on it I would get the roller. But I think it's the same as the rtr just no electronics. If that is not correct let me know.

How are the stock tires on it. I was going to order wheels n tires a while. What would you suggest? For the most part it will be on parking lot tracks.

How come the RTR Electric version no where to be found in Ofna's website?
Looks kind of like a HobbyWing ESC?

It will be interesting to see what hop-ups are added to the RTR, if any. The Roller was the only way for me as I have a Tekin RX8 wt 2650 Redline going into it. And I get to select my own servo and Rx. The hop ups I can add if required

Mine will be mainly a parking lot racers and i plan to use Sweep 45 deg threaded tires, but will experiment with others.

No hop ups are on the car, but the hop-ups can be purchased from the buggy X3, so things that you can have from the X3 Pro buggy are ,

rear cvd's
diff outdrives
rear cnc alum uprights
front hingepin holders, inserts are also needed with that
alum chassis braces
aluminum hardcoated pivot balls, for shock ends and camberlinks
front alum uprights in 10 or 12 degree
lightened diff cross pins
shorter gear ratio from X3 buggy on bevel and pinion gear
lightened wheel hubs
serrated lock nuts

And it looks like soon to be coming will be

rear Gt toe plate
rear Gt rear/front hingepin holder, buggies fit but do need modding at this time
