Do the bittydesign body fit on the 23?

Quick question, I was going through my spare parts bag and I ran across the Gear Diff Set V2 Part#374900. Will this work on the X1 23? Thanks in advance!

You need the formula gear diff hex hub end part since that is the 1/12 part diff part number. That is the only difference.

On the Team X-Ray website , it shows the X1 '23 as being 'Product Replaced'

A new version on the way? or just plain discontinued ?

I noticed this too, Been looking for one to pick up and the only one I've seen to hit the market was just a few days ago at a local shop with a $100 mark up.

Last time I bought an X1, I had difficulty finding one, too. Luckily, I found a shop that still had one in stock, but it seems they do only a limited production run on these, and they can sell out many months before a new model will be available. Apparently F1 just isn't as popular as other classes, and there's probably not enough demand for them to do another production run in these situations. So you might be out of luck until the release of the next model - if you're going to stay with the X1, that is.

Anyone running the side shock in place of the side tube’s? If so what oil are you using on asphalt? I couldn’t find a relevant sheet on the Xray site.

The montec f23 body fits well and works great. Rear shock I ran 20wt as the piston has no holes and the car had push. after a couple fluid wt changes went back to the tubes. Easier to change grease on tubes than rebuilding the shock if the track changes like it does on our outdoor track here in fl. if temp was steady would have kept it on.

Jan just announced the X1 '24. Seems a bit early to announce the '24 model year when summer just barely started...

just like real cars theyre announcing 1 yr in advanced. Lol.
