Xray should include the gear diff... FFS it isn't luxury without the gear diff. Xray gouging.

For those of you that have the X1 23, what ESC are you installing. I tried adding my HW XR10 Pro and there is some fitment issues. Is it recommended to move the servo forward to make room for the ESC? Also, I'm just getting back into F1 racing. There use to be a F1 thread that explained setting up an F1 car, is that still available? If so, can someone point in the right direction. Thx in advance.

Default esc XR10 pro stock spec

I use in my X1 2023 the Hobbywing XR10 pro stock spec, it fit perfectly in this small place.

I put a Tekin in mine. No issue with fit. I installed the ESC on the right side.

Thanks for the pic! Looks like I need to remove my fan from HW esc.

usually no way to fit in these cars with a fan but it’s usually not needed with spec motors. If you have the bigger, pro g2 or whatever they call it, you’ll definitely have a hard time fitting it. I can’t see anything bigger than the justock pro fitting.

That's what I was thinking as well. I was trying to install the larger pro unit. Appreciate the feedback!

Hey one last question. I'll be running on CRC black carpet. Is the kit setup a decent place to start?

That should be a good setup. However, the motor will be dependent on your track rules.

Has anyone drilled a hole in the top deck of the 23’ car so that they can use the long shock setup for bumpy conditions?

Just picked up a X1 23; my first f1 car. Got a couple noobie questions...
Do all f1 bodies fit on all chassis? or please provide recommendations to good fitting bodies.
I read a while ago about pegging the diff for high traction, is this recommended i do right off the bat during initial assembly for CRC carpet? dont feel like bucking up for the gear diff quite yet.

No, unfortunately not all F1 bodies fit every F1 car (I bought some Protoform F1 body and it did not fit my X1'18. Normally the Xray X1 came with a body that fits (at least until the previous version) and that was a Montech body, IIRC.
