They don't fit. A pan car front bearing is 1/8 x 5/16 x 9/64. You either have to make a custom collar that fits in there and over the F1 axle, or use a normal TC setup station with these https://www.michaelsrchobbies.com/hu...xle-adapt.html

Thanks for the help guys, after seeing the formula setup gauge I see they look and work like the regular tc setup gauge and not the pancar setup style gauge. Appreciate it thank you again

Look at the book and go from there. That's the answer I get all the time. The try it and go from there I run a different set-up from the rest of my gang.

This one is for a race at Apex which is on black carpet. It's for a X1 23, but I don't think that the cars are different enough that it can't be a good starting point for a X1 24.

Hi guys, my brother just bought an X1 16 - is there any parts on the later versions of the X1 like the 23 that can be used on these older cars? Or are they not compatible?

Thinking more for spares and replacements parts as need be.

Cheers

I need some help on the XRay F1 24. Adjusting the tierods the ballcups keep popping off when attempting to adjust them. I wanted to tap them and put a 3mm button head to secure them when adjusting. But my tap will not work on the steel balls. Any suggestions on a fix?

Are they open ended so you can secure the stud with a wrench when adjusting? Open ended ones might be the answer. Frustrating.

I just stick a 2mm wrench in the hex of each ball stud when adjusting the turnbuckles and it keeps them from popping off. Also, when initially building the tie rods, I coat the threads of the turnbuckles with chapstick and run them all the way down into the ball cups to cut threads. Then I back them out and adjust to the proper length. It makes adjusting the turnbuckles so much easier later on.
