Post some pics if possible. You may want to rebuild it and make sure you didn't miss anything

Can i just use my std Tamiya springs? do I need to change the retainers? If I want to use the larger springs should I get the Ride TC springs or the Yokomo or Hpi springs?

(I am racing carpet mainly)

Regarding the centre pulley, mine has a little play / movement nothing excessive though

You can't put the old Tamiya springs on the new retainers - although there is nothing stopping you from fitting the old style of retainer.

I'm using a 0.2mm shim on each side with panaracer spur. Play is perfect with this setup

Today i had the first race with the 418 and man is this car fast.
The car was super quickly and easy to drive, i did use the 6° front C-hubs.
It was a small track and my fastest time (7,59s) was about 0.6 seconds faster the the second fastest guy.
But once again, the swing shaft pin protector is a very weak part, i had to replace one again.
But overall a very impressive car that drives really smooth.
Me happy

I have a set of 6 deg hubs to try as well.

Was the track carpet or asphalt? any set-up pointers?
