A rear swaybar will help your car rotate better.

Having a front one way will help you carry more corner speed.

Do you know who has the sway bars in stock or what sway bars will work? And will the front one way for the d3 fit the xi?

If you can't source out the xi swaybars, the Zero swaybars will also work. Just need to change the mounting hardware slightly, as the ball stuudd goes into the arm.

So just use the 316 kit with the 46 bars?

Yup. That will work.

I don't know if i would recommend using a one-way. You'll have very little brakes. Unless you got a wide open track with plenty of grip, the one way may not be the best choice.

If you decide to try it, let us know how it feels.

Instead of a front one way. Would a rear gear diff fit for the front? Still have brakes but yet should carry more corner speed.

Can the XI be used as a drifter? What about a rally car? I'm trying to decide what TC chassis to get.

The #7 isn't actually in the set. I got the #7's with the 3racing Tamiya mini aluminum shocks.

There is many alternatives to this set, but this is what I use. Another similar alternative would be Tamiya yellow in the front and Tamiya red in the back.
As in, the Tamiya short springs that are harder than their "standard" length equivalents, or the regular touring car springs, which I think are indeed a bit longer than the sakura's? Curious, cause I have some of those short springs laying around.

I run a gear diff in front on mine. I like it better for the tracks I run on.

I do think it could be used as a drift car but if you really want a drift car the d3 is where it is at. You wont be dissatisfied with the xi sport for a tc at all. It handles really well and is very durable.

The budget's a little tight so I'm trying to find something that can do a little of everything.

The xi would be a good drift car if you change the tires and shock settings and to go back to road racing wouldn't be to hard. It's definitely a good platform to do both with.
