How do the cars compare when running the kit rear hubs vs hop up 3 degrees? Is it a big difference?

Given the specs motor low speed, there was not much of a difference. 2nd place car was running the plastic lot ones. This was on black carpet.

Really, not even ball bearings or oil dampers?

they do make the difference imo
it is depend on track layout and track grips set up

I was running the TT02RR which is stock alum 3 deg rear hub and I went to the plastic hub and it was un drive able
but again pn Black Carpet may be different stories

I have the R and it needs more steering, I'm maxed on steering travel but mid corner still pushes a bit wide than I like. This is on asphalt so if the zero degree plastic ones are too loose then I'll keep my 3 degree hubs. Not trying to spend another $40 for the 2.5 hubs.

What springs, shock oil and diff settings? Which tires?

TT02-R kit build, kit oil shocks, 3 hole piston 32.5 oil. Greased rear diff, hop up spool front. Sweep 36 tires.

are you running front spool?
front soft spring
2.5Mil front gear diff
one step stiffer rear spring or one hole upright rear shock position
low RC front and high in the rear camber link setting

Yes, the hop up option spool. Everything else kit.

I have the shocks mounted in on the front and out on the rear. Same shock package all around.

They’re looking to revive the Silverbowl here in Vegas. You can build a whole TT kit before ProSpec 21.5 motor propels the car down the back straight. 😉
