I kicked off the indoor season for myself today. With the upcoming Tamiya Euro Cup race in mind, I brought the TT-02s to the track. The track got new carpet and a new layout. I found a decent rhythm quite fast, but had to fight a little with the car. The rear was stepping out suddenly. I tried a lot of things without effect. Later in the day a little less droop and a reduction of the steering angle helped this problem. I then cured it by taking out 1mm of the rear inner camber link shims :sweat: After that I could increase the steering angle again and finally got some consistent runs :)

Decided to race this TTO2 in the VTA class took second in the last state race in a field of x-ray awesomatix and the such Guy came over to my pit and says I can't believe you're freaking beating me with the $150 plastic tub guys kept coming over picking up my car looking at it trying to figure out wtf I was laughing so hardthis car has so much potential in the spec class you just have to find the right setup for it it's amazing it is the TT 02 type r from about 4 years ago it is not the type s . It has the little tiny short suspension arms and all I added the camber set to it.

Planning to build TCS car for next season.
What are the upgrades for tt02rr? universal shaft or double cardan? latest trf shock? big bore or not?
Lay down your must have upgrades for a good tcs car. Thanks :)

I would go with steering knuckles shocks adjustable everything. thats just me more is better for tuning .

1st time out I got hit in a head on and then again side ways. this thing before it got hit was supper fast and on rails... racing it at night NO lights MY BAD . then after the hit it was all over the place. parts are on order this it what happened CAN you see it .. when I took it apart to straighten it the turn buckle snapped . https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rct...721099bad9.jpg

That's the issue with aluminum parts. If it doesn't break, it will bend. If it bend slighty you won't notice it right away. You would just feel something in the car is not right while driving.
