Wow Rod, your car was a missile, just too many mistakes. Crisp just drove smooth and clean. Wish we had that facility over in Australia.

Thanks for the videos

It's already been shrink-wrapped and packed away for next year Yeah, the car is fast but it doesn't like to be over-driven. At about 85% it's good but at 2 billion % you touch a curb and over it goes hehe. TheTA05 is a good platform with lots of potential.

Also, on Greg's webpage there are the F201 and GT1 mains. Supa-dialed and mucho gracias to Mr Hodapp.

Raced it yesterday against Xrays, TC3's and Yokomo tourers and yes it IS competitive, took third overal, last in the first A Main after putting the nose into a corner marker then getting well and truly t-boned which pushed my shell right in, was in the lead at the time after a sweet (even if I say so myself) overtaking manouvre into a hairpin. 2nd A Main, took the lead half way round the first lap, held it for 4 mins under some EXTREME pressure, this comes from not being competitive with a tourer last winter season to being up the sharp end.

Mods done to the car were an RW spur gear so I can run on 48dp, TRF shocks (with stock yellow springs and 40wt oil) and a Protoform Mazda 6 shell, would of been a stratus but the surface we were on didn't have much grip.

Mods for the future, pair of carbon braces to brace the front/rear gearbox to the chassis as there is a small amount of flex there and it just takes the car a little longer to react to steering inputs due to the flex.

Otherwise, it is an AWESOME car, and the guys who had a try were VERY impressed on the way the car appears to be slow but it is a total deception as the car wasn't getting flustered.

It gives you more power on steering, but not as much as a front one-way, for carpet, where it is normaly a small tight track, diffs front and rear with fixed drive is better.
