My TA-05R built, before set up, a few other hop ups incl Alloy Motor Mount, Alloy rear uprights, CF Shock towers and battery brace, front and centre one ways and lightweight centre shaft and Titanium Screw set. And it's 100% TCS Legal!

Not sure where you live in Illinois, but these are the ones that are relatively close if you live in Northern Illinois,

His and Hers in Kenosha WI

Default Gearing

Very sweet ride indeed. Could some of you guys would be kind enough to share some of your ideas with me. I am looking for some good gearing tips (64 pitch) for the TA05 for asphalt and carpet.

Thanks

Paul

Better pics here...

Don't have time to race Carpet, so am going to run the MSX on Asphalt, so that makes the NEW 05R expendable

Okay guys

I just got a new hop-up for my TA05R and it doesn't seem to work the way I had thought it would! I bought the carbon battery hold down and the posts are appear to be too tall to be used with my side by packs. Did I do something wrong? Is there a TCS legal fix for this? Or did invest an extra piece for my tool box and have to pull out the tape to secure my pack in the car?

Default strap

You've got to use some spacers before screwing in the posts. This way the posts will stick up far enough to clear the battery and allow you to pass the clips through the posts. Are your side x side packs fitting without the strap? I know I had to move my battery terminals to the top of the pack because when they were on the side, the pack was too wide for the opening.

Default strap

You may have to attach some foam strip to the underside of the brace to fill the gap between the battery and the strap.
