I'm ordering my TA05 tommorow. Is the chassis that "soft"?

You can use 415 or from evo4 but you might want to ad spacers if you will be using the evo4's.

Is it really heavy? Cant wait till its sold at my LHS. Cant believe its made in Phils yet I have to wait till its available here. How ironic! What's the yen price? Hopefully its not as heavy as my tbo2.

ESC.. again
Finally, I got my SS ESC mounted on TA05. It need 8mm rubber under ESC to mount it higher for more space.
As for "soft", indeed after everything on, the chassis flex is ok, but still no good for my standard. However, damper tower is really way too soft and there is nothing to fix it except CF hopup. Seriously I suggest everyone going to race TA05 get CF damper tower as a must.

3mm shim on left side should fit in 415 front bulkhead very well.
I can't use my 415 spool on TA05...

Any chance that fits the front of a 415?
Just thought I'd ask in case someone here owns both a TA05 and 415.

ummmm... it is.
Champ how about you quantify what you regard as "Heavy", per above, kit out of the box ready to race was 1540 grams, 40 grams shouldnt be too hard to get rid of with Hop up hardware.
ummmm... it is.

it was really good, especially considering i made very few adjustments from kit....
i may have been able to catch ya (without all my mistakes!), but anyone who has raced with Doc knows... catching and passin are 2 different things!!!! yearite... nobody had anything for you!!!!!
and i did, uh, stress test a bit in that "Widowmaker" chicane with a 19T a couple times.. no broken parts! the towers are quite flexible, but probably not a problem unless on very high bite stuff, carpet, etc.

Hello folks! Hebiki thanks again man! Ok about the TA05, is stifness better or worse for asphault or is flex better for asphault? Also, would you guys happen to know good esc fans and part numbers? Does Tamiya have any? Thanks!
