I will try not too look too stupid with this. Which is the steering bell crank? Is it the part "K2" in the instructions?

Now... which one you will go with?

TAMIYA carbon reinforced tub chassis?
or
SpeedTech R/C carbon fiber plate chassis?

Question.... it's!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Your steering install wrong direction, you try to turn around to install, you can makenormally steering space

That is correct sir! Xenon Racing makes excellent graphite components as we ran their Alex Racing Barracuda chassis conversion kit at the Reedy race last year and the year before, both times making the top 10 in the A-main 19T class, so we are very impressed with their graphite quality, and we are very looking forward to this conversion kit.

The owner of Xenon Racing is a good friend of mine and he is currently in the states on a "business" trip with us here in Vegas for IIC race. If you guys have any question regarding the chassis, please post here and I can ask him about it.

I will post the picture again

I might be wrong, but it seems both front/rear brace still used, and 2F is mounted on brace, just like the way TechRacing did.

Question: what thickess it's, both chassis and 2F deck?

People should be careful if they choose to use either. I've seen a couple cars in my day that went from really good handling 'flexable' and/or 'porkers' to being really bad handling 'super stiff' and/or 'lightweight'.

Everyone figures that lighter weight and stiffer is always better. But like all other chassis tuning options, how much stiffness and lightweight helps depend largely on what you intend to race on. My jaw dropped when I first got a look at that lightweight carbon chassis. But once I calmed down I realised that it probably wasn't the best choice for the 'on again...off again' traction of our outdoor asphault track.

It does look damned sweet though...

Hey Steve W, nice chassis. Question, is it gonna be carpet friendly? Meaning, how do you think it'll handle side to side flex? What's the chassis thickness? Also, does Xenon sponsor anyone? Looks like it's gonna be a killer chassis. Can't wait to try it out!

My Question is "How is the stock chassis working on carpet?" I know before Fred Medel Left, he said he was going to use the car for teh vegas race.

I'll know by the end of October. We start carpet season around then. It might be fine for Stock. But not Mod.

Not too well. It's got a bit of flex and a upper deck would really help out.

Note: I'm looking towards the Xenon Racing chassis! This thing needs to shed a few grams and more stiffness for carpet. I already like the fact that I won't have to cut up anymore servo mounts with that chassis.
