I'd grab Sway bars, normal 64p gears, front steel CVD's, maybe aramid belts, pretty well it... the front one-way/spool is your choice, depends on what you're running on..

I'd see about the Wide-pitch pulleys too.. the recessed covers keep the diff clean for so much longer, let alone the extra efficiency.

Welcome to Club TA05!

Thanks for the info, wasn't sure what they meant by 'wide pitch' so I passed on em, but I'll grab those now too. I'm probably going to be sticking with a spool... I'll be running on the Aliso Viejo track and brakes are soooo awesome there. You'll have to teach me the secret handshake later hehehe

so bridge 1A and 1C in the front, right? Have to try it then.

What about in the back? I'm running asphalt, should I keep standard (1A / 1A)?

thanks,

Awwww I'm blushing I wasn't planing on it, at least not at first, but who knows, down the road I'm sure it'll see some SoCal track time... SoCal is so rough on the chassis, I'm just gonna keep it a Tamiya track qween for a bit

Your car is all blinged out already. What else do ya want. Spools suck, and especially in GT2 and GT3. Keep the double one-ways. Tony, my TA04 will be looking for ya on the track to show ya who's boss, Mr. Corally If you let me borrow a stock motor!

That all depends if you need more rear traction............Go 1 step at a time until the car pushes out of the turn then back off one setting. Each letter increase`s toe in by 1/2 of a degree. 1A 1B 1C 1D 1E......................

Do you guys think the Carbon Chasis for the TRF501X buggy would be able to be used for the onroad TA05. Would be pretty cool, just curious how much of the onroad parts transfered to the offroad buggy. http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/ite...oduct-id=49401

3Racing, as it is a much more 'complete' conversion, ridding the car of them horrible wings on that brace the bulkheads to the chassis.

re: TRF501X, you are looking at belts, pulleys, diff internals and layshaft pulleys, max... the chassis should be designed to accept a machined front kickup, as we ALL know, tourers don't make good buggies.
