You can probably wait on the center oneway, as your front oneway will be doing exactly that function.. then again, it's a nice blue...

Perhaps front universals would be good as well, but that's really it..

I now have a 3-racing chassis and TRF shocks on my TA05, I have won the 1st 2 races at my popular carpet/foam race club so far (car was amazing to drive) but wanted to change to a twin deck stiffer chassis.

I will be buying front steel 46mm universals and front/rear CF shock towers, anything else?

I notice with the 3-racing chassis that the servo mounts are the other way round, low and high are swapped round, which is a shame as the original car was perfect for my servo from my old pro 4 where I had to chop off one of the mounting lugs to clear the main propshaft.

I would get the sway bars and LW suspension so you can adjust caster. If you get the LW suspension then also get the 48mm rear dogbones.

Ooh I'd like to see that go with a Lipo pack. I see you are using a Sphere to control the motor, which Velociti is it? 5.5? 4.5 or 3.5?!!

I ran it yesterday with the SS5800. Novak says it should perform like a typical 19t brushed motor, but that thing aint like no 19t I've ever owned! Wayyy faster than any 19t I've ever seen. I would rank it more in the range of something faster, like a mild mod, maybe like 14t-16t or something like that. But 19t speed...no way, much faster.

That motor is about as fast as I'm looking to go, especially with the stock diff outdrives in place. I got a SS4300 on the way for our local (and fast growing) brushless/4300 class. So the SS5800 is just in there till the new motor arrives.

Does anyone know if the Tamiya 5mm Suspension Balls (50994) are of the same size as the its HPI counterpart (75172)? I just broke a suspension mount on my TA05 and one of the suspension balls just went flying somewhere...couldn't find it.

I have had a whoopsy on an order and ended up with two 53936 - Wide pitch Front one-way pulleys. Anyone need one?

i talked to tamiya 2 days ago about the 49400 ta05 30th aniversery car
he said its not going to be a ta-05r
he said wheel base will be shorter.
even he did not know much about this new kit. he was baffeled at the center gear diff.
he did mention a big hobbie show in japan soon where he thought the might bring out a ta-05 r version
we will just have to wait and see!
its a tamiya, i am shure it will be awsome!

Just drove my TA05 for the first time at are pre season practice (carpet and foams) - what a car! I have it converted to all 3Racing inclucing the chassis. I was keeping up with my buddies T2 with no problem. I am amazed at the way this car handles the corners - turns and sticks!! This puts my Factory Team TC4 to shame on this track - still excited
Just my two cents...
