About the Porsche Turbo RSR Type 934
Based on the Porsche 930 introduced in 1975, the Turbo RSR Type 934 was developed to compete in the Group 4 GT category of FIA races. Equipped with a high-powered flat-six turbo engine, the car came to dominate the production car racing scene throughout the world during the 1970?s in the hands of many private racing teams and had many impressive performances, including a 2nd place finish at Le Mans 24 Hours.
Tamiya never ceases to amaze me! I love the idea of this kit. Hope to get one when they come out.

With the machined hubs, how tight are you supposed to make the screws? I'm not too sure why they even make it like that, and not just a solid piece. Can anyone clue me in? Thanks.

The good point of CF chassis:
- Lighter than any
- More space for ESC/RX/etc
Bad point of CF chassis:
- Cost
- TCS-illegal
I'm running my TA05 with 3racing CF chassis. The 3racing kit is too stiff for asphalt so I just mod it to make it flex a bit more, work quite well for me. If you gonna run on asphalt, you might like to remove some column and screw from 3racing kit to make it flex more.
The stock chassis is way too heavy. Tamiya graphite tub chassis is too stiff for asphalt (unless you mod it, of course). 3rd party CF kit is not legal for TCS. So you probably need to pick the best stuff for your application.
But still, Tamiya will definitely go for CF chassis sometime. If you need to lighten your TA05 for carpet session, go for graphite tub chassis, as it cheap and very stiff for carpet. The only problem is if you using big ESC than you will have a hard time on it..

......yes, I have the stock chassis and cut the corner to fit the esc; the upper deck is "real" carbon
while the stickers give a cool look and help protecting the motor bearing from dust .... 
Wow, I just checked Japanese web site and found out Porsche 934 one going to be RRP78,540YEN!! It’s coming out DEC this year….but when they say that it means FEB-MAR next year.
