I meant FAST!!!!!!!!!!!!! Warming the cells for some reason before charging really wakes them up. This is a trick I learned from Dave Wert of Voodoo cells @Voodoocells.com

I would doubt it. A lot of the "awesome handling" comes from the tub style chassis and it's flex. I'm sure they see the 1000 companies that already have that market covered. I would be looking for a TRF version with all the graphite composite parts soon though.

Of course that will definately happen because Ive gotten a stock TA-05 and dumped a small fortune into it to get it halfway hopped up.

Well, you either pay $600 over two years or $500 all at once. At least if you take the two years you get to racing something and have time to get used to and understand the car...and you and spread out the payments. Call it, "Tamiya Financing."

the shelf life for the TA05 is gonna probably extend (at least) another year or two..... so when the sales of the TA05 starts to slow down, then you'll see new versions come out. Like a TA05-R.. then TA05-TRF... etc. they did this with the TA04 and TB-02. the TB-02R came out much quicker since the car wasnt very popular with a very short shelf life. in speaking with Fred Medel from TamiyaUSA... dont expect to see a TA05-R until 2008 or possibly 2009.

i would "assume" it can come sooner if sales suddenly drop. but thats just my assumption. with the popularity of the car, i think you can expect Fred's timeline to be accurate.

yes the evoV arms ARE DIFFERENT from the LW suspension.

evoV arms are 1mm shorter. the LW suspension has 5 mounting holes for the shocks. the evoV arms only have 4. the inner most shock mounting hole on the LW suspension (3 hole side) has been removed on the evoV.

LW arms
-0-0-0- (removed from the evoV arms)
--0-0--

EvoV arms
---0-0-
--0-0--

Whats the link for this cahsis???

it is rigid at the front to keep the steering consistent and a little amount of flex on the rear to help it on the power. It handles, I think, better than the stock chassis as it is much better behaved and lighter.
