Ya, I am running 4.5T 2S config now with 8.5 ratio. It does seems like 11.1V config will make the motor works easier.

I broke sintered rotor of my 4.5T with this car, this can also happen with "ordinary" 190 mm touring electric cars but I think this car needs 3S 11.1V and a 4 pole short course motor 540/550 to work properly on big asphalt tracks because of its extra-weight (Short course electronics for onroad car!!) Edam makes 5 mm axle pinions for this car, so i think this is the solution.

If you see Serpent 747e and Mugen MTX5 ECO prototypes all of them use 1/8 ESC (Tekin RX8/LRP iX8) and 4 poles 540 for 200 mm, for 220 i think 550 with 5 mm axle is the right way to go.

Expensive electronics but even cheaper than a nitro engine.

NDZ, I am going to use Espirit with this combo:

HobbyWing Combo SCT-PRO-A Xerun-SCT Pro esc + 3672 Motor
[HW-COMBO-SCT-PRO-A]

ESC is 120A-760A 2S-4S lipos

Motor is 4000 kv 550 size and 5 mm axle

Final rpm about 50400 rpm with 3S, not too much but enough if electronics works without melting or firing components...

Searching on youtube i found this video, they are not ESpirits 220 GPRs but Kyoshos 1/10 nitro converted to electric using 4S lipos electronics, Lola bodies and GPR superbarchetta foams . Same concept:
