The video is with the Lehner motor (thats the whistle you hear
) on 3S with a Tekin RX8. Speeds arent that impressive though. The next run my RX8 caught fire unfortunately . . .. Thats why I returned to 2S with a 4.5 turns setup.

Please add some video with 4.5T+ 2S lipo at MACH when you can. I will do the same at my local track!!!

which is your top speed with 4.5T and 2s lipo?
I'm doing a brushless setup for my nitro Kyosho RRR, and I'm thinking to go with 3s for more top speed and better temperatures.
I don't know a good setup for it.

Top speed is about 97 km/h and drops to 93 km/h when reaching the 5 minute mark.
Motor temp after a 5 minute run is 70 degrees celcius.

NDZ, Lehner motor is some kind of 550 size bruhless motor?, I think 11.1V + 550 sized motors are the key with this car. I broke 4.5T 540 rotor last week in 2S config. You said you fired your RX8 ESC?. Recommend ratio for 11.1V 3S lipos is <7.5. Which ratio you used?.
